We are extremely proud and happy to be able to make available to our friends and followers on our website a most interesting book in Spanish by the President of the Argentine Academy of Language and Literature, Dr. Pedro Luis Barcia. Published in 1966, "Shakespeare en la Argentina" is a history of the reception given to the works of Shakespeare in Argentina. It is the first book that we have made available in digital format on our site and we are most grateful to Dr. Barcia for making this possible.

• On Friday, May 10, 2013, the FSA hosted a very exciting panel at the Buenos Aires International Book Fair.
FSA celebrated Shakespeare's Birthday with an event on April 23 2013 at Fundación Internacional Jorge Luis Borges. Our thanks to Mrs. María Kodama for having hosted the Fundación Shakespeare Argentina to Homage Shakespeare at her place. Two special guests lectured on Shakespeare: Translator and University Lecturer Dr. Rolando Costa Picazo and Director and praised Drama Teacher Mr. Augusto Fernandes.
On Monday May 13th, for the first time in Argentina, actress and senior Globe Education Practitioner, Yolanda Vazquez lead a workshop on Shakespearean performance focused on Hamlet.

Mrs. Vazquez is an exceptional teacher and actress who adds communicational skills in English and Spanish to her performance based teaching experience.

Summoned by FSA and Shakespeare´s Globe Education, the workshop took place in Buenos Aires at Garrick Arte Cultura (independent new theater).
